Rahul brings with him 24 years of rich experience in Business Development, P&L management, Client servicing and managing & building large retail teams in global FMCG and financial services organizations. Rahul started his career with Eveready Industries Ltd. managing sales and their export division, followed by stints in ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Tata AIG Life Insurance and Max New York Life Insurance. Rahul has served in leadership roles in the insurance industry, developing strategic tie-ups and alliances and leading large teams to grow business.

He has been associated with Religare for more than 16 years. In his previous role as Chief Business Officer for Religare Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited, Rahul grew affordable housing into a formidable business. As MD & CEO, Rahul is responsible for managing and growing the housing finance business, besides establishing & implementing the corporate strategy, as well as managing retail and corporate liabilities.

Rahul is an alumnus of MDI, Gurgaon (Batch of 1999).

Mr. Pankaj Rathi is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, holding All India Ranks in both disciplines, with over 15 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector. His expertise spans financial reporting, fund raising across equity and debt, mergers and acquisitions, balance sheet and treasury management, regulatory and corporate compliance, business strategy, budgeting, and taxation.

Prior to joining Religare, Mr. Rathi served as Chief Financial Officer at Grihum Housing Finance Limited, where he led the finance function through two significant ownership transitions. He successfully raised funding across a diversified mix of debt instruments and spearheaded a credit rating migration strategy, achieving an uplift from AA- to AAA across three institutional identities. He also drove the digitisation of finance and compliance platforms, resulting in improved operational efficiency and faster turnaround times.

His earlier professional experience includes roles at Xander Finance Limited, JM Financial Products Limited, Karvy Capital Limited, EY, and PwC, where he built deep capabilities across financial reporting, audits, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory within the BFSI ecosystem.

As Whole-time Director and Chief Financial Officer of RHDFCL, Mr. Rathi is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial and operational performance in alignment with its strategic priorities. His mandate includes strengthening the financial architecture that underpins growth by building a diversified and cost-efficient funding base, maintaining capital adequacy and balance sheet discipline, and ensuring robust compliance with regulatory frameworks, including those prescribed by the RBI and NHB. He plays a key role in enabling sustainable scale while reinforcing financial resilience and governance standards across the organisation.

Mr. Rathi has been awarded the Leading CFO of the Year – BFSI (FY24) by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and has been recognised among the 40 Under 40 Business Leaders (2025) by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
